Meet Tica Douglas, a singer / songwriter based in Greenpoint Brooklyn. This is the second song I filmed for my little “Record New York” series. It’s a wonderful Nina Simone cover of “Everyone’s Gone to the Moon” (Original written by Jonathan King). While I try to celebrate creativity by capturing original songs on this show, I was initially hesitant to put up a cover.
